The results of these initial trials often set the precedent for settlement negotiations. If these trials result in significant verdicts for plaintiffs, it may encourage a global settlement.

Estimated Duration: While every case is unique, historical patterns in pharmaceutical multidistrict litigation suggest that resolutions may emerge within two to three years following consolidation.
