Russell Uselton
About
While growing up on a ranch in Southern Oklahoma, Russell Uselton was taught from an early age the importance of cooperation, community, and helping those in need because it is the right thing to do. Setting his sights on becoming a personal injury lawyer seemed natural to him, as it would allow him to empower people taking on large insurance companies in their most trying times. For more than 25 years, he has used his career to do just that. Russell is an active member of the McAlester and Pittsburg County communities.

Maximizing Compensation for Clients
At Stipe Law Firm, Attorney Russell Uselton can put his background, dedication, and know-how to good use, pairing well with our highly-experienced firm that shares his ideals. He takes the time to come to know each client personally, treating them like a close friend, compiles and organizes evidence to enhance his clients’ arguments, and never backs down from the opposition. This “failure is not an option” mindset has allowed him to overcome significant case challenges and secure huge settlements and verdicts for his clients. Attorney Uselton has said his most noteworthy case victory was a wrongful death claim involving a mother who bled to death shortly after giving birth due to the mistakes of the medical provider. The defendant was adamant they did nothing wrong, but could not prepare itself for the overwhelming evidence and case he brought to trial.
Attorney Uselton’s advice to potential clients is to never give a statement to insurance companies until they are fully aware of their rights in the situation. Even seemingly harmless words like “I am sorry for what happened” can turn a case upside-down and take the advantage away from the plaintiff. By waiting to talk to an attorney to make statements, a personal injury claimant can educate themselves in liability law and better prepare for the road to recovery, which is often paved with hard-fought trials.
